Job Description: -

Should have 8+ years of experience with at-least one of the three major clouds namely Azure, Google Cloud Platform or AWS. Should be proficient in stringing together Cloud services to stich together a data-engineering solution, starting with ingestion, moving on to storage & curation, culminating with consumption. Should have designed medium sized data-warehouses/data-lakes right from the requirement gathering phase to ope-rationalization. Should have experience in designing dimension models on one of four major cloud-databases namely Snowflake, Synapse, Big-Query or Red-Shift. Should have strong on-prem experience during the initial years of his/her career before graduating to Cloud-technologies.

Responsibilities

    Elicit requirements from business stakeholders and convert it to technology specifications for consumption by development team.To help in decisioning and formulation of technology stack, bearing in mind constraints like cost, performance, and scaleDesign technologies with one of the three major cloud service providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform or AzureEnd to end data-model design and realization on a specified cloud data-warehouse following industry standard design patterns and best practices. CDW’s in question could be one of - Snowflake, Synapse, Big-Query or Red-ShiftPerformance optimization on Cloud data-warehouses by systematically uncovering performance bottlenecks and mitigating them through design or technology overhaul.Experience in designing and architecture APIs, BI dashboards, cloud solutions including ETL, Modeling.Strong analytical skills: proficient in providing business insights, data analysis and reporting, use case development, planning, effort estimation.

Mandatory Skill Set: Data model design, ETL Design, Data-pipeline design and development. Knowledge of one Cloud-technology and one cloud data warehouse

Secondary Skill Set: Strong Communication Skills.
